Abiriba History
Abiriba is an ancient kingdom in present-day Abia State, southeastern Nigeria. Made up of three brother villages — Ameke, Amogudu and Agboji — Abiriba is known for its royal lineage, age grade system and strong communal structure. For centuries, our people have been celebrated for their craftsmanship, leadership and unity. The Abiriba Communal Improvement Union (ACIU) was established to bring all Abiriba sons and daughters under one roof, whether at home or abroad. It serves as the heartbeat of our community, preserving culture, encouraging service and coordinating development across branches. Built on the foundation of honour, identity and legacy, ACIU remains a symbol of who we are and what we stand for. One member. One branch. One purpose.
